Data & Account Deletion

Deleting your account and your data

This page covers the Lighthouse mobile application (package com.lighthouseamp.app) and the Lighthouse and LAMP web applications, all published by Lighthouse Intelligent Asset Platform L.L.C. It explains how to ask for deletion, what is deleted, what is kept and why, and how long it takes. You do not need an account to make a request, and there is no charge.

There is no account to create, and none to self-delete

Lighthouse is workplace software licensed to a firm, not a consumer app. You cannot create an account inside the application. Your firm keeps its own roster, and its Principal, Director, or VP adds and removes people. Sign-in runs through your firm's own Microsoft account and its multi-factor authentication; we never hold your password.

That is why there is no “delete my account” button in the app: the button that actually ends your access lives on your firm's roster, and putting a second one in the app would be a switch that does not control the wiring. Removal from the roster ends access immediately. The routes below exist so that you are never dependent on that being done for you.

How to ask for deletion

Either route works. The first is faster for ending access; the second is the one to use if you want records about you deleted, or if the first is not available to you.

  • Ask your firm's administrator — the Principal, Director, or VP who manages your firm's roster. Removing your roster entry ends your access at once.
  • Write to info@lighthouseamp.com with the subject line Deletion request. Tell us your name, your firm, the email address you sign in with, and whether you want your access ended, your personal details deleted, or both. We will act on it with the firm and confirm the outcome to you in writing.

We may need to verify who you are before deleting or releasing records about you. That protects you rather than us. We will not ask you to create an account in order to make a request, we do not charge for one, and we will not retaliate against you for making one.

What is deleted

  • Your roster entry and your access. Ended immediately on removal; there is no grace period during which a removed person can still sign in.
  • Your personal profile details held by us — name, work email, phone number, role, and title.
  • Saved sign-in on your devices. Any resumable session and any device you pinned is invalidated, so a phone left in a drawer cannot be used to get back in.
  • Correspondence you sent us through this website's contact form, once it is no longer needed to answer you.

What is kept, and why we say so plainly

Some things survive an individual deletion request. We would rather tell you that here than let you discover it later.

  • Your firm's business records. Ledgers, invoices, leases, work orders, and payment records belong to the firm, not to us and not to any one employee. A property ledger is a permanent business record. We cannot delete a firm's books on one person's request, and you would not want a platform that could.
  • Audit and access logs. These are retained deliberately, because their entire purpose is to show what happened. They record who did what and when — not the substance of a message.
  • Records under legal hold. Where a law, a court, or an ongoing dispute requires a record to be preserved, it is preserved, and we will tell you that is the reason rather than deleting it quietly or pretending it is gone.

If your name appears inside one of those retained business records — as the person who approved an invoice, for example — that entry stays, because removing it would falsify the record.

When a firm's whole engagement ends

A firm's data lives in its own database and its own deployment, separate from every other firm's. When an engagement ends, the firm receives a complete export of its data, and that database and deployment are decommissioned and deleted. A firm's administrator can start that by writing to info@lighthouseamp.com.

How long it takes

  • Access ends immediately when the roster entry is removed — not overnight, and not at the end of a billing period.
  • We acknowledge a written request within one business day and complete it, or explain in writing exactly why we cannot, within 45 days.
  • Backups. A deleted record may persist for a short period inside encrypted, access-controlled backups until those backups age out on their normal cycle. It is not used for anything in the meantime, and it is not restored.
